This piece is a faithful recreation of my father in law’s inability to pick good horses. The first time my wife and I went to the race track here in Saratoga Springs, we asked my father in law, Thad, which horse we should bet on. He confidently recommended horse number 5 which then proceeded to come dead last almost every race. Thanks Thad.
